Professional Development

Care, Refuge, Asylum
Confidence in Providing Counseling and Case Management

People who have experienced displacement often need support in accessing to nursing care and related social services. This raises specific legal and practical issues for professionals. The training program is aimed at professionals working in care counseling, Pflegestützpunkte, social services, self-help organizations, and migrant self-help groups.

The focus is on legal foundations, areas of responsibility, applying for benefits, and specific aspects of case management. Practical examples provide the confidence needed for day-to-day counseling.

A final Q&A session provides an opportunity for a practical exchange and a discussion.

Speaker:
Jörg Elsässer, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (University of Applied Sciences) and Certified Registered Nurse (Germany)
